In the report, we are proud to share the impact of our efforts over the past year. From the expansion of our mental health and wellbeing support to the launch of our shop and the countless hours of direct support provided to adults and young people affected by domestic abuse, each achievement is a testament to the unwavering commitment of everyone involved in our mission.
Here is a snippet of this years data...
In the last 12 months we have provided long term interventions and support to over 3562 individuals, 488 were assessed as high risk and at greatest risk of death or serious harm.
Our IDVA service supported 2139 people with a safety plan, keeping them physically safe. 395 referrals were received for our victims’ programmes, AIM and Recovery Toolkit, 178 referrals for our adult behaviour change programme and 504 young people were referred for our young people's behaviour change programme. We have received 140 requests for refuge and were able to provide safe accommodation to 36 women and 53 children. We were able to support 51 people to access our counselling service.
We have trained 636 people pan Lancashire, enabling people like counsellors and health professionals to have a deeper understanding of domestic abuse.
This year has also brought exciting new developments like our shop, a refuge garden remodel and our first charity ball! We proudly received the Investing In Children Silver Award for being an accredited member since 2016.
A huge well done and thank you to our amazing staff and trustees. We are incredibly grateful for the support and generosity we receive from the community and businesses around us. Thank you all for your dedication in helping to make our communities a safer place to live.
